We use Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) which produces powerful, focused, three-dimensional images of your tooth. A CBCT scan is not necessary for every case, but when indicated these highly detailed images allow our doctors to detect lesions with more accuracy, to foresee any possible complications with root anatomy, and to more reliably predict treatment outcomes.
