CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT
Dr. Lai will review your medical history, dental history (anxiety level) and perform a thorough examination of the area of concern. Digital radiographs (xrays) and sometimes a 3D Cone Beam CT scan will be taken for a thorough assessment.
Dr. Lai will then discuss all the findings, propose several treatment options and educate you on all their pros and cons. The number and duration of visits and treatment fees will be discussed.
If you would like us to find out your insurance coverage, we can send a pre-determination to your insurance.
TREATMENT
You will be given adequate freezing/numbing during the procedure and you may be numb for a few hours after that.
If you need oral sedation for your appointment, you will be asked to arrive to the clinic 1 hour before your appointment time. You will need a driver to take you home after the appointment.
FOLLOW-UP
Please connect with your general dentist for permanent fillings or crowns.
We will send you a reminder to return to our office to check on the healing of your tooth.
A DETAILED REPORT WITH RADIOGRAPHS WILL BE SENT TO YOUR DENTAL OFFICE.
