At the consultation we will perform a few simple tests, radiographs (Xrays), and possibly CT Scan if needed to confirm recommended treatment.\u00a0 We will thoroughly explain your diagnosis and treatment options, if needed.\u00a0\u00a0 Treatment can generally be done on the same day as the consultation. \u00a0However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.<\/p>\n<p>Treatment is usually completed in a little over an hour. In some cases, however, teeth that are very complicated to treat may require an additional visit.<\/p>\n<h5>\n\t\tPatient&#8217;s Journey\n\t<\/h5>\n\t\t\t<h3>Day of Appointment<\/h3>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A referral slip and any radiographs (if applicable).<\/li>\n<li>A list of medications you are presently taking.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Please alert us to any medical condition you have that may require special accommodations.<\/li>\n<li>If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card and any necessary forms to save time and allow us to help you process any claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Once your appointment is made, your username and password\u00a0is\u00a0emailed to you, which allows you to\u00a0login\u00a0and complete your registration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>SAVE TIME!<\/strong> You have the option to fill out all <u>online registration forms<\/u> in advance (ie Health History, Pain History, Office forms, etc) in the comfort of your home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0If you do not have computer access, we will be happy to assist you at the office.\u00a0 Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete these forms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0<\/strong> If you have dental insurance, please provide this\u00a0information to our staff before your first visit.\u00a0 This will save time and allow us to process any claims.\u00a0 You may also call your insurance company to find out about your dental coverage for the initial consultation and root canal treatments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0<\/strong> If you plan on using\u00a0<strong>Care Credit<\/strong>, please alert us and bring your card or 16 digit account #.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your referral slip<\/li>\n<li>A list of medications you are presently taking if you did not complete the Health History online prior to coming in.<\/li>\n<li>If you have dental insurance, please bring your\u00a0insurance card and information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7.\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0Radiographs (X-Rays)<\/p>\n<p>We will need to take\u00a0radiographs\u00a0as\u00a0part of the consultation protocol. It is important that we take radiographs of the tooth or teeth in question\u00a0for our records.
