SCOTT E. GERARD, DDS

Dr. Scott Gerard was born in Washington, DC. He grew up in Vienna, Virginia and graduated from James Madison High School. After graduating from the University of Virginia, he attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree in 1987. Dr. Gerard completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV in 1988 before returning to the Medical College of Virginia for a Certificate in Endodontics which he completed in 1990. Since graduating, Dr. Gerard has been in private practice in Chesterfield County and the Tri-Cities area.

Dr. Gerard is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Southside Dental Society. He is also a member of the Nottaway Dental Study Club, the Virginia Academy of Endodontists and the Southern Endodontic Study Group. Dr. Gerard holds a part time position as a clinical instructor in the Department of Endodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University.

In his free time, Dr. Gerard enjoys running, cooking, and trying to keep up with his sons on the golf course.  He and his wife Vera enjoy hiking, travel, and getting away to Southwest Virginia to spend time on Claytor Lake.  They have three adult sons and look forward to seeing their family grow.

Dr. Gerard sees patients in both our Chesterfield and Colonial Heights offices.
