I had an emergency root canal today and could not have had a better experience with Dr. Carter and his staff! Dr. Carter was extremely personable and professional and the procedure was painless. Although I hope to never require another root canal, if I do, I'll definitely call Dr. Carter!

It is never "fun" to go to the endodontist as you obviously are beyond the traditional dentist's expertise area. However, should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing care, I highly recommend Dr. Chris and Dr. Chandler. I have seen both and feel the conscience of the office is set by them: all staff is professional and expert in their area. I will seek care no where else for the type of service they provide. They are great ambassadors for their profession. Also...their sense of humor helps ease the stress of being there. Bravo!!!

Dr. Chandler has magic hands. This and my previous root canal were truly pain-free. Of course, I used acupuncture and arnica montana after the operations to treat any possible pain as naturally as possible.

I am a relatively new resident of Charleston. What a pleasure to be referred to such a great office for an initial treatment for an unanticipated root canal. My initial encounter with the office staff was superior. When I met Dr. Chandler for the first time I was greatly pleased with his professional but warm demeanor. His explanation of the procedure was extremely informative. The procedure was painless - believe it or not! I would recommend this office to anyone. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly! I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in and I was nervous so that's saying something! Dr. Chandler was also amazing! He explained everything to me which I really appreciated, and he was aware I was scared but he was so friendly and reassuring that it would not hurt... I wish all doctors were like Dr. Chandler! I hope I never have to have another root canal but in the event I do I know where I am going without a doubt! Thank you for your care and all the office staff and anyone that helped care for me! Drs. Chandler (as well as his staff) provided the best "dental care experience" I have ever experienced. I never had any problems with my teeth until recently so my anxiety & anticipation were sky high when I walked into the office. I also was in alot of pain. Everyone from the girls at the front desk (Megan) to the assistant & Dr Chandler were very compassionate & patient. They took the time to explain everything & patiently helped me thru the procedure. I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful and friendly staff. I was very impressed by the overall care during my procedure and the lack of pain. I had expected to be sore for days afterwards but I had very little pain. If I ever need treatment again this is the only office I will go to. Thank you for the excellent care!

 I've had a few root canals before, and non have been this "pleasurable" as the one experienced at this location. Dr. McGrew made sure I was comfortable the entire procedure. Although it is hard to call any dental work "pleasurable," this was the most comfortable procedure I've ever had at the dentist. Thank you guys!

 I recently underwent treatment by Dr. Chandler, and I am simply thrilled with the results. He was able to diagnose and treat the pain I have been having off and on for 9 months. I had seen 2 excellent dentists, and neither could figure out precisely what was causing my pain! My dentist then referred me to Dr. Chandler. He spent 45 minutes examining me and talking with me - to try and figure out from where my pain was coming. He has a great deal of sophisticated equipment, but the most important thing was just listening to my symptoms.

I am cured, and I am forever grateful.

I have never had a root canal or any other dental procedure that I couldn't feel when the numbing injection was given.  I kept waiting & it never came.  So, I thought I guess Dr. Chandler had already given it.  This was pleasant surprise.   The injection, to me, is more painful than any of the other phases of treatment. Overall, a pain-free dental experience.  What more can you ask for?   Dr. Chandler seemed to take his time in explaining what my dx was & my options.   He has a very nice bedside manner.

I was extremely pleased with the service, care and attention I was given while at your office. Before, during and after the procedure, it was a pleasant experience because, frankly, I was in so much pain before due to the infection and inflammation that almost anything would've helped! I went in a little nervous since this was my first root canal. I told Dr. McGrew that I was and he said he could understand that and said we'll get through this together and was very calm and explained the procedure to me. That made me less nervous. The procedure was near pain free. The wand that they use to numb is great! He worked fast and was very efficient and it was over before I knew it. I would definitely recommend Charleston Endodontics they are a great team!

A+ care all around beginning with Lynnea at the front desk. Her smile and warmth put me at ease immediately. Dr. Carter was calm, smiling and confident despite my twisty canal. He hummed on and off during the procedure...soothing and comforting. I may have napped during part of the root canal. No pain whatsoever during the procedure. I sincerely appreciate the entire staff for their great care and professionalism.

I have a tooth that started to bother me for no obvious reason. Dr. Carter was able to work me in on a Friday and I am very grateful that he could. It turned out that the tooth was cracked down into the nerve. Dr. Carter was able to save the tooth and I am back in New Jersey waiting for a permanent crown that will keep the tooth from cracking in half. Root canals have an undeservedly bad reputation. The visit was completely painless and didn't take all that long. Heaven forbid, if I ever need another root canal I hope I'm in Charleston and Dr. Carter is available.
